Imani Enterprises
Imani Enterprises is a Global Arts Consulting Business that is part of the service industry.
Founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1994, and now based in Toronto Canada, Imani Enterprises is dedicated to the advancement of youth arts and culture, through a creative lens. At Imani Enterprises we introduce creativity as a means of communication, project planning and outreach. We cater to individuals, grassroots organizations, not for profit groups/organizations, and corporate clients. We map out a communications strategy based on our client’s ideas and needs and deliver it through a series of coaching workshops, presentations, curricula, showcases or events. Our activities are designed to help our clients realize that arts and creativity can add to a better quality of life, and we make our clients a part of the creative process.
We recognize that in today’s climate that organizations and companies are seeking new and innovative ways to do outreach and incorporate culture and creativity into a business framework… and we are here to aid you in this process.
Anne-Marie Woods, Managing Director of Imani Enterprises has an extensive background in project management, community development, theatre, radio, communications and marketing, and writing and performance. These things make her an excellent facilitator, project manager, and communicator who is extremely efficient at leading varied high-profile arts projects. Leading these projects have allowed her to build great partnerships with arts and cultural organizations, venues, and service providers in Toronto, Montreal, Nova Scotia, the United States, London, England, and Trinidad, West Indies.
Anne-Marie utilizes her strong interpersonal, customer service and public relations skills to develop and sustain partnerships and build consensus with diverse cultural groups, staff, volunteers, artists, and the public. She can work well autonomously or collaboratively, and possesses expertise in project management; evaluating performance, reporting outcomes and mitigating risks and she can manage and motivate internal and external project teams.
At Imani Enterprises we have a pool of professional industry creatives and project managers in various service industries that we draw on for larger projects.
